1. Checkout is not launched
CodeTutor is not ready to accept paid-plan purchases. UI previews, plan names, test prices, and sandbox checkout code are not offers for sale. A production checkout must show the operator, currency, taxes, billing period, renewal terms, included usage, and total before payment.
2. Intended plans
The planned tiers are Free, Starter, and Pro. Every plan may choose supported language models; plans differ by included credit, requests, tokens, rate, concurrency, and maximum output. Reaching the first applicable limit stops managed AI usage. Current entitlements must be read from the authenticated account screen when billing launches.
3. Renewal and plan changes
Paid subscriptions are intended to renew monthly until cancelled. Upgrades are intended to apply immediately with clearly disclosed proration. Downgrades and cancellations are intended to apply at the end of the paid period. Cancelling must stop future renewal without deleting the account or local files.
4. Top-up credit
Prepaid AI credit is intended only for active paid subscribers. Included period credit is consumed first, followed by the earliest-expiring top-up. Top-ups are intended to expire 12 months after purchase and remain subject to the active plan's request, rate, concurrency, output, safety, and model-availability limits.
5. Refunds and disputes
Before launch, CodeTutor must publish the legally reviewed refund window and regional consumer rights. Duplicate or unauthorized charges, confirmed service-side accounting errors, refunds, and disputes must be processed idempotently and reflected in the credit ledger. Used AI credit is not promised as refundable unless law or the final policy requires it.
6. Taxes and invoices
Stripe is the intended payment processor and Stripe Tax is intended for applicable tax calculation. Stripe—not CodeTutor—handles full payment-card details. Production receipts, invoices, tax treatment, and merchant identity remain launch gates.
