1. Beta only
CodeTutor is an unfinished public beta. Features may change, fail, be suspended, or require migration. The beta is not represented as production-ready, continuously available, signed on every platform, or suitable for safety-critical work.
2. Eligibility and accounts
You must be at least 16, be legally permitted to use the service where you live, provide accurate account information, protect your sign-in methods, and promptly revoke unfamiliar sessions. One person may not create multiple accounts to evade usage or fraud controls.
3. Your repositories
You keep ownership of your code and are responsible for having permission to use every repository, dependency, credential, dataset, and service you expose to CodeTutor. Review every proposed edit and command. Keep backups and use version control.
4. AI output
AI output may be wrong, insecure, incomplete, or subject to third-party rights. CodeTutor is a tutoring and development aid, not a substitute for professional, security, legal, medical, or financial review. You are responsible for testing and deciding whether to use an output.
5. Plans and paid service
Paid plans, top-ups, taxes, renewals, and service levels do not become available merely because their UI or documentation is visible. Commercial checkout must remain disabled until operator identity, prices, terms, tax, support, and payment processing have passed launch review. When activated, the checkout screen controls the amount and billing period you approve.
6. Suspension
Access may be limited to protect users, the service, upstream providers, or the public; to investigate suspected fraud or compromise; to comply with law; or after material breach of the acceptable-use rules. A review path must be available for enforcement mistakes.
7. Open-source components
The repository contains MIT-licensed and other open-source components governed by their own licenses. CodeTutor is an independent fork and is not affiliated with or endorsed by its upstream project; the required copyright and attribution remain in the repository and site footer.
8. Commercial terms still required
Final operator identity, governing law, venue, warranty disclaimer, liability limits, production notices, and contact details require legal review before commercial launch. This beta disclosure does not invent those missing details.
